What can I expect when I attend?

No matter who you are or where you’ve been, you’re welcome here. Our worship services are focused upon connecting with God, through worship and Bible teaching, and with one another.

As a visitor, will I have to say anything or be singled out?

You will not be asked to say anything or introduce yourself as a visitor. As our way of welcoming you, we do ask all of our First Time Visitors to stand so that we may greet you. If you prefer not to stand though, that is fine, too. We do not want you to do anything that would make you feel uncomfortable.

If I need prayer, will Community Christian Church pray for me?

Community Christian Church is a praying church. If you are in need of prayer, please feel free to come forward during the invitation at the conclusion of service as well. We would love to pray for you. If you wish, you may send prayer requests through the PRAYER REQUEST link on our Home page. Your request will be forwarded to one of our ministry leaders.

Will I have a chance to meet the Pastor?

Pastor Walker looks forward to meeting visitors and spending time with members after each service. He is usually available at the front of the church immediately following service to receive guests and members, as well as speak with those who have questions about the church or the message of the morning.

Will I be asked to give an offering?

As a guest you are welcome, but not expected, to make an offering. The Tithes and Offerings portion of our service is a time of celebration at Community Christian Church. Our members are excited to give as part of their commitment to God and the church.
